Fighter jets kills 16 militants in Swat

SWAT: Sixteen militants have been killed by bombardment carried out by fighter jets here on Thursday.Security forces fighter planes pounded militants’ hideouts in various parts of Peuchar and Shor in Matta tehsil, killing 16 more militants. Meanwhile, eight people were killed and several others injured when mortar shells hit several houses in Alam Gunj area of Khawazakhel in Swat. The death toll may rise, sources said.
